The largest outdoor concert-only facility in the Tampa Bay area, originally named Ford Amphitheater, features approximately 135,000 sq.ft. of PVC tensile membrane. The membrane roofing system was recently replaced by Birdair, Inc. with fabrication of the membrane by Span Flex´s. The music venue has the capacity to hold 20,000 (10,000 reserved seating and 10,000 on the lawn). The tensile membrane roofing system demonstrates a series of 3 identical areas utilizing parallel steel arched trusses to provide shape and slope to the PVC membrane.
