Plaza Pabellon is a modern shopping center located in the west portion of Guadalajara, a few steps from Los Colomos Forest and the gigantic Plaza Andares. Surrounded by large avenues, modern buildings and exclusive residential areas of Zapopan, Plaza Pabellon features a beautifully designed gray colored PVC mesh tensile facade to really dress up the shopping mall's exterior. Due to the lightweight of the membrane and clamping components, it allowed to cover a large area of the building facade's with less structural support compared to conventional building materials. Demonstrating a geometric pattern, the total surface area of tensile facade coverage is approximately 22,000 sq.ft. in which at night time is lit up to create a focal point for the city.
