If you've ever been to the Orlando Airport, you may have noticed all the tensile membrane drop off canopies at the various arrival and departure terminals. Originally designed-built by Birdair back in early 2000's, it was time for some of the existing PTFE tensile canopies to be replaced due to weather wear and tear over the years down in sunny central FL. Span Flex was contracted by Birdair, Inc. to provide fabrication and installation to replace the existing PTFE membrane in several areas at the airport with new material. The current total of membrane replaced was approximately 21,000 sq.ft.
